Car Electronics
Car electronics have moved far beyond a phone plugged into the cigarette lighter. A modern vehicle now powers laptops, tablets, dash cameras, navigation handsets and passenger devices at the same time, and each one asks for a different voltage and current. ZONG builds the pieces that make that possible: USB-C car chargers from 30W to 170W, PD 3.1 adapters, 12V and 24V power accessories and the cables that connect them. Every unit is designed for the voltage swings, heat and vibration of a real vehicle rather than a desk, and every batch ships with the test report for the market it is going to.
Your Trustful Digital Connection Supplier
ZOGUO has manufactured car chargers and car electronic accessories in China since 2000. The range covers 30W single-port adapters up to 170W three-port GaN chargers, plus USB-C to USB-C, USB-A and 240W EPR cables. Contact us now for a free quote, a sample or a specification review for your market.
Advantages of Car Electronics
Fast Charging
PD 3.1 delivers up to 140W from one USB-C port, enough to bring a laptop to half charge in about thirty minutes.
Multi-Device Output
Three ports share a 170W budget, so a laptop, a tablet and a phone can charge from a single 12V socket at the same time.
GaN Thermal Design
A gallium nitride converter with a zinc alloy body runs cooler than silicon, which matters on a dashboard in direct sun.
Vehicle Compatibility
12V and 24V input covers passenger cars, vans and trucks. The plug body is sized to hold tension in a worn socket.
Certified Safety
Over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection, with UL 2089 scope for the US market.
OEM and ODM Ready
Port mix, wattage split, logo, packaging and certification package can all be specified for private label programmes.
What is a car charger used for?
A car charger converts the 12V or 24V supply of a vehicle into the regulated USB output a phone, tablet, laptop or dash camera expects. It plugs into the cigarette lighter receptacle or accessory socket and negotiates the correct voltage with each device through USB Power Delivery or Quick Charge. In practice it is used for navigation handsets that drain faster than they charge, for laptops carried by field engineers and sales teams, for dash cameras that need a permanent supply, and for passengers who want to top up on a long drive.
How does a USB C car charger work?
The charger steps the vehicle supply down through a switching converter and then presents itself to the device as a power source. Over the USB-C configuration channel it negotiates a voltage and current pair: 5V for a small accessory, 9V or 15V for a phone, 20V for a 100W laptop, and 28V for the 140W extended power range defined in USB PD 3.1. The device, not the charger, decides what it can accept, which is why a charger rated above the device simply runs cooler instead of pushing more power.
Inside the housing a GaN stage keeps switching losses low, a controller balances the three ports against the 170W budget, and a protection block watches current, voltage and temperature. If the socket voltage sags during engine start, the converter holds regulation and resumes charging when the supply recovers. Car chargers by power class
30W USB-C PD
A single-port adapter for phones, dash cameras and navigation handsets. The smallest body, the lowest cost, and the right choice for retail accessory lines.
140W USB-C PD 3.1
The extended power range reaches 140W at 28V and charges USB-C laptops at wall-adapter speed. Requires an EPR-rated 5A cable to reach the full rate.
30W USB-A Quick Charge
Backward-compatible output for older Android handsets, GPS units and accessories that still use a USB-A plug.
